With a long career in film and television, Marly van de Wardt has honed her expertise in make-up, hair and special effects. Since discovering her true calling, Marly has been dedicated to the art of transformation, expertly bringing characters to life. 

After earning her degree in Social Studies, Marly embarked on a creative journey across Europe with “The Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” a renowned music and theatre festival. This experience deepened her passion for make-up artistry, leading her to Paris, where she successfully graduated from the prestigious Christian Chauveau School for Make-Up. 

Marly’s extensive international experience forms the foundation of her career. Based in Amsterdam, she has contributed to a wide range of Dutch and global productions, collaborating with acclaimed directors such as Thomas Vinterberg, Paula van der Oest, Sergei Loznitsa, Jessica Woodworth and Urszula Antoniak.

Her fluency in multiple languages and her ability to connect with diverse teams make her a highly valued professional on set.
